workshops OFFERINGS INCLUDE:

1. F.L.O.W.: Emotional Intelligence for Mountain Professionals

Emotional awareness, regulation, and response under pressure. Deliverables: Shared team framework, emotional literacy tools, field-use reflection prompts, communication practice.

2. Regulation to Respond, Not React

Nervous system regulation for stress, overwhelm, and high-intensity scenarios. Deliverables: Somatic regulation tools, reset practices, stress response education, individualized regulation plans.

3. Self-Awareness Under Pressure

Focus: Recognizing personal patterns, triggers, and default coping under stress.
Deliverables: Self-awareness mapping, trigger identification tools, reflective exercises, practical self-check systems.

4. deepening Peer Support in High-Stress Teams

Focus: Strengthening team care, emotional support, and human sustainability.
Deliverables: Peer support tools, check-in frameworks, active listening practice, support conversation structure.

5. Holding Grief in Mountain communities

Focus: Navigating loss, fear, and the emotional impact of mountain life and work.
Deliverables: Grief processing frameworks, group discussion tools, reflection prompts, community care practices.7. After the Incident

Focus: Supporting teams after accidents, loss, high-stress events, or emotionally charged seasons.
Deliverables: Post-incident processing structure, debrief tools, emotional recovery practices, reintegration support.

6. Compassion Without Collapse

Focus: Holding space for others without absorbing, overextending, or shutting down.
Deliverables: Emotional boundary tools, co-regulation skills, care practices, compassion fatigue prevention strategies.

7. Play-Based emotional Resilience

Focus: Using play, movement, and creativity to build regulation, connection, and adaptability.
Deliverables: Interactive group exercises, nervous system play tools, connection activities, embodied resilience practices.

The five skills of emotional intelligence considered are:

Recognizing emotions in self and others
Understanding emotions causes and consequences
Labeling emotions with secific vocabulary
Expressing emotions in line with cultural and social norms and context
Regulating emotions with supportive strategies

Skill-building mentally and emotionally involves developing empathy and awareness through supportive individual guidance and expanding group acceptance to challenge limits and beliefs.
